2010 Catholic Youth Convention, Diocese of Helena

My goal was to transform a metal fairgrounds building into a sacred space for the weekend event. Their theme was about journeying so I went with pathways and a labyrinth. I focused my design on a chapel area and a couple of main entrances. They had to choose which way to go at the three junctures. Entering the chapel there is Holy Water and they could choose from a light or dark pathway entrance. I included a prayer rock garden for them to create in. It seemed like a natural with the Eastern feel of the prayer path. I believe the rest is self explanatory from the photos below.
