LINDA McCRAY
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Linda creates abstract spiritual original paintings. Her current passion in painting is taking her beliefs and translating them into universal spiritual messages that speak to others regardless of their traditions. She is an exhibiting and liturgical artist living in Clancy , Montana and has shown her paintings in houses of worship, museums and galleries. Her paintings are included in the following permanent collections: Washington States Arts Commission’s Permanent Collection, the Montana Museum of Art and Culture and the Helena Regional Airport . She has written many articles on contemporary liturgical art for Georgetown Center for Liturgy’s online resource EnVisionChurch.org and publishes Liturgical Art Today and the Liturgical Artists Directory. Linda graduated from The University of Montana Department of Art with a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing and cum laude from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. She has taught art at Carroll College , The University of Montana-Missoula and currently teaches art at The University of Montana-Helena College of Technology. She is a member of Christians in the Visual Arts and the Association of Consultants for Liturgical Space.
